THE WINE
Two vineyards, one fresher Primitivo
Primitivo 2025 brings together two parts of Puglia. Old bush vines on the shallow terra rossa soils of Sannicandro di Bari contribute depth and character. The lighter soils of Orta Nova, near the Carapelle river, bring freshness to the blend.
The wine is raised in stainless steel, without pursuing additional weight or sweetness. At 13% alcohol, it shows ripe cherry and plum, black pepper, gentle tannins and a dry finish made for the table.

IN THE CELLAR
Low intervention, many decisions.
Hand-picked fruit, temperature-controlled maceration and fermentation, gentle extraction and ageing in stainless steel. Light pad filtration protects clarity and stability without seeking an industrial finish.
IN THE GLASS
Ruby red. Cherry and plum, black pepper, Mediterranean herbs, balsamic and earthy notes. Supple tannin, clear fruit and a dry finish.
The 2024 technical sheet recorded 14% abv, 5.5 g/L total acidity, pH 3.6 and residual sugar below 2 g/L. These are archive data; every vintage has its own sheet.
Serve at 15–17°C. Open 20–30 minutes before drinking; a generous glass brings out its balsamic side.
AT THE TABLE
How to serve and pair it
Serve lightly cool rather than warm. Its freshness suits orecchiette with ragù, baked aubergine, roast meats and mature cheeses.
