What style of wine does it make?
It brings deep colour, present tannin and acidity that can carry the wine. It may show dark fruit, herbs and spice without becoming sweet or overripe.
Where does it grow?
It is principally associated with central and northern Puglia, between Bari and the province of Foggia. Its name belongs to local history, not an international grape rebrand.
Nero di Troia with food
Its structure works with pulses, meat, mushrooms, baked pasta and cheese. Cool cellar temperature keeps both tannin and aroma precise.
A Terra’s interpretation
We seek depth with a light step: natural structure, savour and tension, avoiding excessive extraction.
